Early spring I had a plan to record few sailing moments on to video. On that time I bought remote video system for that purpuse. Plan was mount the lens and transmitter to the cat and then send the signal to shore where the video camera was located. I bought a small flash light and then put the lens with transmitter and the battery on it.
Range from transmitter to receiver should be couple hundreds meters but after few tests I noticed that it´s only around 100m.
The picture quality was acceptable but some how the manual fine tuning was odd. When the cat moves with the cam the on board the receiver needs to be tuned all the time. Or it was never tuned sharply at all.
In a future I will look better solution.
